Culture evening.

On Tuesday the 10th, there was a cultural evening night at vardon school.
Lots of people came to dance and stuff like the Cambodian dance, kapa haka, sasa etc.
At fist i felt nervous, shy and scared, But when i got on stage, it wasn't so bad, i wasn't nervous, scared or shy, i actually felt proud of myself.
I enjoyed singing papatititaha and taupiri temonga.
Even though i didn't see any of the performances[except for middle kapa haka], i thought they were really amazing with all of there practise.
The thing i enjoyed most was getting up there and giving it a go and singing in Maori to lots of people.
It was a bummer when the performance was over because i enjoyed so very much.
But still i was tired and a little hungry.

Room 12 and room 5 have been working together to create some nature things like trees, kiwis, the river and fantails.
On Thursday the 28th of June, it was SHOWTIME!!!!!.
While classes were waiting for there turn, people were watching movies[we watched wreck it Ralph].
Also each class had there own theme.
My costume was a kiwi,I was in a group of 8.
The people who helped make the kiwi costume was Toby, Savannah, Desmond, Me, Enoka, Malachi, Aston and Ake.
The production was in the school hall.
We made our wings out of carpet, our top and pants out of colour coe, the belt out of blue box straps and plastic.

Warriors visit.

On Friday the 15th of February the warriors visited.
While they were here we played some rugby games that were really cool.
Our games were like we had to score a trys and play some bull rush.
Everyone was really,really tired.
When we finished all of our games with some of the warriors the teachers handed out prizes to people who were working with good leadership and working hard.
After the teachers handed out prizes we got to go to the warriors and get autographs for like 15-20 min.
While we got autographs the teachers got a pic.
When the warriors had to go we went back to class and teachers handed out autograph books but there weren't enough so teachers had to choose.
Scoring tries.
